With an objective to create and educate children about the importance of consumption of fruits in their regular diet, the tiny tots of Kindergarten celebrated Fruit Salad Day on 28th October 2019. The special assembly was anchored by Maria Netto. The day started by seeking the blessings of the Almighty by reciting the Kirath by Ceira and Prayer by Raiha. All the children were dressed in multi coloured dresses to reflect the colours of different fruits.

Kids of KG2 performed a skit where the narrator – Eva Khadeeja- told a story about a boy who hates fruits and a boy who loves fruits and how their teacher introduces them to a superhero – “Superman”. He spoke about how he gets his strength by eating fruits and also takes them to a fruit market where the fruits talk about the advantage of eating them. Thus he convinces the boy to love and eat fruits. The skit was followed by a dance. Children brought a variety of fresh fruits such as apples, oranges, bananas etc. Teachers along with children had a good time preparing fruit salad and definitely no one else had tasted better fruit salad earlier than this special day.

In connection with the Fruit Salad Day celebration, the Kindergarten section also conducted a MASTER CHEF ACTIVITY for children based on the theme UAE. Students had to arrange the fruits according to the theme UAE. Through this activity kids got an opportunity to exhibit their creativity and imagination. The kids spoke a few words about their theme.

The participants were awarded. The tiny tots of Kindergarten enjoyed each minute of that particular day filled with enormous joy and happiness which will be a memorable day in their Kindergarten life. It was really a fruitful day.
