Sport develops a sense of friendliness among the children and team spirit. On December 12, 2019, The Model School conducted its 33rd Annual Sports Meet with utmost spirit and vigour.

We were honoured to have Mrs. Abhilasha Singh, the Principal of Shining Stars International School as the chief guest for the big event. We began the day with the recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by the U.A.E and Indian national anthem offering our respect and gratitude to the countries. An inspiring welcome speech was given by our beloved Principal Dr. V.V Abdul Kader. We were glad to have our Vice Principal Mr. Mohammed Shareef, Head master Mr. Nasari, Asst. Headmaster Mr.
Rasheed and our HoS. Dr. Haseena Begum as a part of the 33rd Annual Sports Meet.

The meet was officially inaugurated by Mrs. Abhilasha Singh by hoisting the flag. A spectacular march past was organised by the students, flashing the beautiful colours of red, blue, green and yellow. The march past was led by the student’s council, followed by the four houses- Pegasus, Antares, Manticore and Orion. Showing the true spirit of sportsmanship, the energetic Sports Captain Anaina Grace, along with the Asst. Sports Captain Fathima Haris, and the amazing athletes Shahda and Diya Basheer lit the Olympic torch. Then an oath taking was conducted by the school leaders and house captains, along with the vibrant, active students of The Model School.
