Singing and music are fun in the class room. Kids love to listen to music and enjoy singing. For this reason, an action song competition was conducted for KG 1 and KG 2 students at the school. The preliminary round took place on 17th October 2019. The final round was conducted for KG 2 students and KG 1 students on 23rd and 24th October, respectively. Kids used props, placards, etc. related to the song. They sang with actions, expressions and rhythm. Students participated in the competition actively and enthusiastically. The competition was judged by a panel of three judges. The judgment was based on fluency, action, pronunciation and performance.
This competition strengthens memorization of information and the ability to recall what has been learned. In addition, it helps to develop fine and gross motor skills. All the participants very confidently participated in the event overcoming stage fright and developed public speaking skills. It was indeed very interesting to watch their performances.
