Creativity is one among 21st-century skills. So it is important to inculcate creativity in the minds of tiny tots. Keeping this objective in mind, we conducted a Colouring Competition on 3rd October 2019. Colouring promotes fine and gross motor skills. It also helps in self – expression, colour recognition, building motor skills, grip control, coordination, focus and boundaries.
A circular was issued to the parents during the third week of September, informing the date of the Colouring Competition – a platform to showcase their creative talent. It was held on 3rd October 2019. Little ones have always fantasized about colours. All the kids participated in the Colouring Competition and displayed their colouring skills. They were given the same colouring sheet. They were briefed on the rules to be followed. Then the competition began with full excitement and enthusiasm, wherein students brought in their colourful imaginations. Children participated with zeal and showed their talent. The little artists had the free om to select the colours of their choice and were able to showcase their imagination, choice of colours and use their creativity to try and produce their best work. It helped them in exploring new ideas, creativity as well as a sense of colours. Students enjoyed colouring and exhibited fine art skills.
