Objectives:
To develop the listening and speaking skills of the kids. To enhance the confidence level of students. To improve personal, social, emotional and cognitive development of children. Our Kindergarten section conducted the preliminary round for ‘Show & Tell’ activity for our little toddlers on Fruits Day. The tiny tots of KG 1 spoke on their favourite fruit with a self introduction. They brought their favourite fruits and spoke confidently a few words on it. All the students in the class participated. The best five students were selected from each division.
The final round of Show & Tell was held on 22-10-2019. The competition was judged by our HoS, Mrs. Varalakshmi and Supervisor, Mrs. Sunitha. The topic was ‘My favourite bird’. Kids brought pictures, placards and toy birds and spoke about it. Such activities help the young ones express their views, remove stage fear, develop confidence, build effective communication and listening skills.
